Armenia Proposes Peace Talks to Azerbaijan, Awaits Response


Yerevan: Armenia has reached out to Azerbaijan with proposals for peace talks, emphasizing the importance of negotiations on peace, delimitation, and other significant issues, as stated by Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Grigoryan highlighted Armenia’s commitment to the peace agenda, revealing that the Armenian government has put forward proposals to Azerbaijan concerning draft peace talks. These proposals include two specific articles that remain unresolved between the two nations. Grigoryan expressed optimism, stating, “We have spoken openly about these articles. I hope that we will find solutions.”



The proposals, awaiting a response from Azerbaijan, reflect Armenia’s proactive approach to addressing outstanding issues and fostering a peaceful resolution. The focus on open dialogue and potential solutions underscores the significance of the ongoing peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
