Baku: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to Azerbaijan, Muhammad Saleh Ahmed Tourig, to discuss cultural relations between the two countries. The meeting took place on December 4, as reported by the ministry to APA. The Minister extended his congratulations to the ambassador on the commencement of his duties in Azerbaijan and wished him success.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Minister emphasized Azerbaijan’s commitment to fostering cooperation with Muslim countries, highlighting culture as a crucial medium for connecting people. He proposed the creation of a legal framework to facilitate cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Yemen, expressing Azerbaijan’s readiness to initiate steps towards this goal.
