Azerbaijan Announces 4-Day Holiday for Eid al-Adha


Baku: Azerbaijan will observe four consecutive non-working days in celebration of Eid al-Adha.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Cabinet of Ministers has designated June 6 and 7 as official holidays for the occasion.



Due to June 7 falling on a Saturday, the Labor Code stipulates that June 9 will also be a non-working day. Consequently, June 8, which is a Sunday, completes the sequence of four non-working days: June 6, 7, 8, and 9.



The Caucasus Muslims Board has also issued a fatwa regarding the observance of Eid al-Adha, aligning with the official holiday announcement.
