Baku: Azerbaijan has officially designated the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport as the central executive body responsible for implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of digital development and artificial intelligence.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this decision was encapsulated in an amendment to the ‘Regulation on the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan’. This amendment was enacted through a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev, reinforcing the ministry’s role in overseeing advancements and governance related to artificial intelligence within the country.
