Azerbaijan Approves Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2025-2028


Baku: The “Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025-2028” has been approved, APA reports. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order in this regard.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Cabinet of Ministers is tasked with coordinating and supervising the implementation of the measures outlined in the Strategy. They are required to provide annual reports to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the progress of these measures and address any arising issues.



The Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for analyzing information security risks in areas where artificial intelligence is applied within state bodies. They are also required to take necessary measures to ensure information security related to artificial intelligence in state institutions.



Monitoring and evaluation of the Strategy’s implementation will be conducted by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication under the directive of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
