ISTANBUL: Azerbaijan is participating as the “Guest of Honor” at the 41st International Book Fair in Istanbul for the first time, APA’s Trkiye correspondent reports. More than 10 Azerbaijani authors, including People’s Writers Elchin and Chingiz Abdullayev, along with 25 Azerbaijani publishers, are attending this year’s Istanbul Book Fair. During the event, the Azerbaijan Cultural Center under the Embassy in Trkiye will present special projects related to Azerbaijani literature and host a range of cultural programs. The Azerbaijan stand will also feature publications prepared by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. Running until November 4, the fair will showcase works like ‘We Are With You, Trkiye,’ ‘Mawlid,’ ‘I am here, God,’ and the selection of poems ‘Ashiq Mikayil Azafli,’ produced by TURKSOY.
