More than 3,000 anti-tank and over 10,000 anti-personnel mines were discovered following anti-terrorist measures in Karabakh, Spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, Colonel Anar Eyvazov said at a joint briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Trend reports. He also said that at the time it was noted that many combat vehicles and weapons underwent modifications and were transformed without proper registration. "Additionally, a large number of improvised mines and explosives, as well as drones were produced for surveillance purposes, while others were intended to transform mines for various provocations," he said. A joint briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan was held in Baku today. The briefing was attended by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ayhan Hajizada and the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Anar Eyvazov.
