Azerbaijani President Expands VAT Exemption List for Public Legal Entities

Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to expand the list of public legal entities whose works and services are exempt from value-added tax (VAT). The decree aims to relieve specific entities from VAT obligations when their services are funded by the state budget.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the newly updated list now includes the State Civil Aviation Agency, which operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The inclusion of this agency is part of the government’s effort to streamline operations and financial management within state-funded entities.
