Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a congratulatory letter to Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on the occasion of his country’s national holiday, Republic Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Aliyev expressed sincere congratulations on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan. He conveyed his best wishes to President Sisoulith and the people of Laos, emphasizing the importance of the Azerbaijan-Laos friendship. Aliyev fondly recalled their recent meeting in Kazan, highlighting the atmosphere of sincerity and mutual trust.

President Aliyev expressed confidence in the potential for further development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations. He emphasized the importance of joint efforts in enhancing both bilateral and multilateral relations, aligned with the interests of both peoples and leveraging existing opportunities.
