Azerbaijani President Highlights Injustice Faced by Citizens Expelled from Armenia.

Baku: ‘The people of Azerbaijan never came to terms with this injustice,’ President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev proclaimed in his letter to the attendees of the Second International Conference on ‘The Right to Return: Advancing Justice for Azerbaijanis Expelled from Armenia,’ as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized that the Patriotic War, which concluded with Azerbaijan’s victory in 2020, paved the way for the return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Garabagh and East Zangazur to their homeland. Aliyev described Azerbaijan’s conflict as a war of justice, showcasing the triumph of international law and contributing significantly to the global issue of forced displacement. He also noted the successful progress of the ‘State Program on the Great Return’ in the territories that have been liberated.
