Azerbaijani Prime Minister and Iranian Minister Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Climate Action in Baku.


Baku: The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, held a meeting with Reza Salehi Amiri, Iran’s Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, to discuss mutual interests and cooperation on November 20.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting was acknowledged as a successful high-level event, particularly highlighting the organization of COP29 in Baku. A key focus was on climate action within the tourism sector, which has been identified as a priority during Azerbaijan’s COP Presidency.

Discussions also revolved around the current dynamics of Azerbaijan-Iran relations, emphasizing the potential for enhanced collaboration in various sectors. Both sides expressed a commitment to exploring opportunities that would benefit the cultural and tourism industries of their respective countries.
