Baku: Azerbaijani MP Rauf Gurbanov announced during a parliamentary meeting that the price of AI-95 gasoline, which has been produced domestically in Azerbaijan for several months, will soon be regulated by the state. The announcement was made at a session of the Milli Majlis Committee for Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gurbanov stated that the AI-95 gasoline is currently being sold at a price of 1.60 AZN. However, this price has not yet been officially included in the list of products with regulated prices. The Cabinet of Ministers is expected to act soon to include AI-95 gasoline in the regulated price list, ensuring consistent pricing for consumers.
Gurbanov also noted that AI-98 gasoline is not produced in Azerbaijan and therefore, its price remains unregulated. The proposed amendment to the law “On the efficient use of energy resources and energy efficiency” was a key topic at the committee meeting. This legislative change aims to enhance the management of
energy resources and promote energy efficiency across the country.
