Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Mongolia Ramin Hasanov has presented his credentials to the country`s President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. The national anthems of Azerbaijan and Mongolia were performed at a ceremony organized in the Government Palace in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Ambassador Ramin Hasanov conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the President of Mongolia. The ambassador noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with Mongolia, adding that he would spare no effort in deepening relations between the two countries based on ancient historical roots. The diplomat said that the two countries enjoy great potential for the development of ties in political, economic, cultural and other areas. Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh congratulated the ambassador and wished him success in his activities. He also asked the ambassador to communicate his greetings and best wishes to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Ukh naagiin Khurelsukh expressed his confidence that the activities of the Azerbaijani ambassador would contribute to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, adding that the Presidential Administration and the Government of Mongolia were always ready to support the ambassador`s activities. The President of Mongolia said that his country was interested in continuing cooperation with Azerbaijan both in bilateral format and within international organizations. Following the ceremony, Ambassador Ramin Hasanov exchanged views on bilateral relations with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh. Source: Azerbaijan State News Agency
