"Last year, the utilization capacity of renewable energy resources in Azerbaijan was 17%. By 2030, the government of Azerbaijan aims to increase the capacity of renewable energy by 30%," Vice President of the Development and Investment Bank of Trkiye Sechili Yildiz said as she delivered a speech at the II Baku Forum on Sustainable Development, APA-Economics reports. She noted that the country's economically viable and technically usable potential of renewable energy resources is 27,000 megawatts and 3,000 megawatts of it is wind, 23,000 megawatts of solar energy, 380 megawatts of it is bioenergy, and 520 megawatts of it is hydrogen energy.
