Baku: The 2nd Baku Water Week, which will include the International Exhibition and Conference for Water Management, is scheduled to take place from September 10-12, 2025, APA reports. This event, pivotal to the field of water management both in Azerbaijan and globally, follows the inaugural edition held in 2024.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the first Baku Water Week saw participation from 97 companies spanning 16 countries and attracted approximately 4,500 visitors over the course of three days. The event facilitated 145 B2B meetings, allowing representatives from local and international companies to explore potential collaborations. These meetings provided a platform for private companies to engage with state institution representatives.

The International Exhibition for Water Management featured discussions on critical issues and organized numerous panel discussions in the presentation zone. Topics included “Water resources and reconstruction work of the Garabagh and East Zangazur economic regions.” Additionally, the Baku Water Week International Conference addressed significant themes such as water resources management, water supply, climate change impacts, and the efficient use of water.

During the two-day conference, the ‘One Drop’ project was presented, and startups related to water management showcased their innovations. Winning teams from these startup presentations were recognized and awarded for their contributions.
