Baku: The compulsory medical insurance fee in Azerbaijan has been set at 124.1 manats per person, marking an adjustment in accordance with anticipated inflation rates. The planned budget allocation for the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund next year amounts to 1,410.4 million manats, with a significant portion, 1,266.6 million manats, representing the state’s obligation to ensure medical insurance coverage for the population.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this information was outlined in the Chamber of Accounts’ opinion on Azerbaijan’s 2025 state budget. The increase in the mandatory medical insurance fee per person reflects an expected inflation rate of 2.7% by the end of the current year. The decision aims to align the insurance fee with economic conditions while maintaining the sustainability of the healthcare system.
