Ankara: The dollar has surpassed the 40 TL threshold in Trkiye, setting a new record, APA-Economics reports. On March 19, at 11:38 Baku time, the dollar/TL exchange rate crossed the 40 TL mark, reaching 40.8140 TL. Currently, the dollar is trading at 38.88 TL. Overall, in the past 24 hours, the Turkish lira has depreciated by around 11% against the dollar.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this significant depreciation of the Turkish lira has raised concerns about the economic stability in Trkiye.
