Moscow: A “Ukrainian trace” is clearly evident in the recent escalation in Syria, and Russia strongly condemns the attack, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated during a briefing. Zakharova’s remarks emphasize the involvement of Ukrainian individuals in the conflict, highlighting Russia’s stance on the issue.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Zakharova expressed Russia’s strong condemnation of the attack, which was carried out by individuals recognized as terrorists by the United Nations Security Council. The Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman pointed out the presence of what she described as a “clear Ukrainian trace” within the ranks of foreign militants, including those coming from post-Soviet states.
