Gas Prices in Europe Exceeds $550


Amsterdam: Yesterday, at the close of trading, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe surpassed USD 550 for the first time since mid-November 2023.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, on January 29, the price of February futures based on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility in the Netherlands, Europe’s most liquid virtual trading hub) index was 554.5 USD, marking a 6.6% increase compared to the previously calculated price of 520.1 USD.



It is notable that since December 31, 2020, Azerbaijani gas has been transported to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).
