Khankendi: Karabakh University is set to welcome up to 1,500 students in the upcoming academic year. The institution plans to introduce new specialties primarily within its existing faculties, as announced by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister revealed that plans include the establishment of a medical faculty and a faculty of natural sciences. Additionally, preliminary work has commenced on constructing two new university buildings. The initiative also aims to attract students from Turkic-speaking countries and member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to study at Karabakh University starting next year.
