Baku: Representatives from NATO have arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan, to take part in the Academic Conference marking the 30th Anniversary of Azerbaijan’s participation in NATO’s Partnership for Peace Programme, as noted by Jafar Huseynzada, Head of Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO, in a post on X.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the NATO delegation, led by NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary-General for Operations Burcu San, along with Jafar Huseynzada, held a meeting with Colonel Elchin Abdullayev, head of the department of International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. The discussions highlighted Azerbaijan’s role as a reliable partner of NATO, emphasizing its contributions to NATO-led operations and the energy security of the Allied nations. The meeting also explored topics related to the Azerbaijan-NATO partnership, potential avenues for future collaboration, and other subjects of mutual interest.
