Brussels: The price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe has surpassed 460 US dollars, marking a significant increase at the previous day’s auction close, APA-Economics reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, on March 10, the price of April futures based on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility), the most liquid virtual trading hub in Europe located in the Netherlands, reached 460.1 dollars. This represents a 2.6% rise from the previously calculated price of 448.5 dollars.
It is noteworthy that since December 31, 2020, the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe has been facilitated via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), indicating the strategic importance of this route in the European energy market.
