Russia detains former deputy defense minister

Russia's former Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov has been detained, according to the Federal Security Service, APA reports. The general was detained on charges of corruption and placed in an investigative detention facility. Operational-search measures are being carried out to identify the causes and conditions that facilitated the illegal activities. Bulgakov was responsible for the material and technical support of the Russian army. He was relieved of his duties in September 2022 due to a transfer to another position.
