New Orleans: American former professional tennis player Serena Williams went from the stands to the stage at Super Bowl 2025, APA reports. The tennis phenom made a surprise appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance at Caesars Superdome on Sunday, with the Eagles leading the reigning champion Chiefs, 24-0.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Williams was captured dancing along with the backup dancers to Lamar’s smash hit ‘Not Like Us’ – his diss track about Drake that won five awards at the 2025 Grammys last week. Williams and Drake dated each other in 2011, and the rapper revealed in footage released over the summer he wrote the 2016 song ‘Too Good’ for the tennis superstar.

The next year, Williams married Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, and they have two daughters, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., 7, and Adira River Ohanian, 16 months.
