Ankara: Last month, Trkiye exported products worth USD 159 million 502 thousand to Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this figure represents a 48.2% decrease compared to December 2024, but a 9.1% increase compared to January. Among the products exported from Trkiye to Azerbaijan, chemicals and chemical products ranked first. Trkiye exported chemicals worth USD 40 million 368 thousand, 11.9% less than the previous month, but 13.2% more on an annual basis.
Electrical and electronic products were the second most exported from Trkiye to Azerbaijan. The total value of these exports was USD 17 million 535 thousand, marking a 12.6% decrease monthly but a 10.6% annual increase.
Machinery and machinery parts ranked third in exports to Azerbaijan, with Trkiye exporting USD 16 million 637 thousand worth. This shows a monthly decrease of 6.2% but a significant annual increase of 38.4%.
The next category was grains, pulses, oilseeds, and their products, with a total value of USD 11 million 793 thousand. This category experienced a 21.1% monthly decrease and a 10.6% annual decrease.
Furniture, paper, and wood products ranked fifth, with a value of USD 10 million 683 thousand. This was a 16.6% decrease from the previous month but a 25% increase year-on-year.
Trkiye’s total non-oil product exports for the month amounted to USD 18 billion 439 million 742 thousand.
